Something just occurred to me, after my last post lamenting the lack of a high-power swivel/tilt flash with the up-to-date features of the AF360FGZ: The problems people are experiencing with the ist-D and flash may be the *reason* for the long wait we've had for such an animal.
Perhaps we'll see an AF500FGZ soon, with higher output and better digital capability. I certainly hope so, because despite the complaints about IS, HSM and various camera body features, I find Pentax's lack of flash options their only serious deficiency compared to Canon/Nikon. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
