The LX won't give you nr 4 either, it has coloured LED's
to indicate metered shutter-speed (AUTO), and some
analog 'flag' for the manual set speed.

Lots of people on the list have both, as I do.
They are very different beasts, but both with their own
strengths and weaknesses.
The LX is a beautiful, almost fully mechanical camera
that is manual focus. It has a distinctive 'quality' feel.
I use it a lot for macro work, where manual focus is
almost mandatory and time is not an issue.
Really love it combined with the A* 200mm macro!
The PZ1p is an AF workhorse that has a lot of features
while it has a very nice user-interface.
I use it for wildlife and other 'time critical' subjects, if
possible combined with some fast AF glass like
the FA* 200mm or FA* 85mm.
