Hi Boris ...

Photographs are just as much about what the viewer sees and
feels as what the photographer's intention was, and his or
her feelings and vision.

I don't think I had the "Big Brother" concept in mind when I
made the shot.  I just liked the contrasting expression
between the poster and the man sitting in front of it. Yes,
I recognized that there might be some symbolism there, but,
frankly, I don't have a lot of time to think about depths of
meaning when trying to grab a shot.  I look more for
composition or some strong element that might make ~this~
snap a good one.  Sometimes only later will the layers of
meaning manifest themselves, but then I'm looking at the
photograph as much as a viewer as as the photographer.
