I was fascinated to learn that it used to be an immigration station many
years ago. I remember once that we sailed to Tiburon for lunch and we
stopped at a bay-side restaurant overlooking the docks. All the waiters
were wearing the same red-and-white striped T shirt as me. Much joking
and frivolity. It was only towards the end of the meal that my mother
told me that mine was on 'inside out', tag proudly displayed on my neck !
D'oh.
