Hi, Shel
Glad you liked it. Believe me I don't care too much
too. I would love to make more meaningfull photos, but
time passes and I'm still making portraits of my
friends, very fashionable and cool but nothing else.
I'm in a very frustrated time, trying to find
something I really like to photograph, you know, some
project, but it doesn't appears, and I want to really
like what I do, I don't want to convince myself in a
project I don't really feel, just to go for a
cliche'ed or "showable" work. You know, something just
right to make an exhibition but not really true, not
felt inside. I've just read a biography of Diane
Arbus, and seen a lot of his pictures, and I really
envy his commitment to do what she felt (I don't envy
her ending), and I feel realy empty, not a f***ng
idea. Maybe the crisis of just turning 25? In the
meantime I do meaningless portraits that everybody
likes. Something is something.

Regarding your series on boys, I really like it,
specially the last one you sent, with the four kids
making a visual circular chain, very a la HCB (I'm not
his fan). It's a good serie. I don't think you can do
it today, unless you know the fathers. Times changed.
Well, end of rant,
Regards

Albano

Hi Albano ...

I don't generally care for this type of photograph.
That
said, this one seems to be a strong image. I can see
it
used in an advertisement for sun tan lotion, or
something
similar. Good work!
