I find the camera is a real conversation starter for me. And, once everyone's ~ahem!~ inhibitions are lowered, the social barriers come down, and people turn into real hams. I've got hundreds and hundreds of party shots, but unfortunately only a few shots have made it beyond the contact stage.
I've long been thinking that it would make an interesting show...
BTW, I missed the hand on the right, sneaking a potatoe (is that what it is?) from the dish. My mother would have cracked my hand with a wooden spoon if she saw me doing that - and I'm not talking when I was a kid!
