It is just a broken "No parking" sign. Just a silly visual pun, I
guess.

I agree with that now. Cropping that part would help. I'm not sure
about the wider angle, though.

This is what the PUG is great for: some times pictures grow on you for
one reason or another, and it is great to have the chance to get
feedback on them, just to knock down any biases.
