Hi Cory,
At least you got to shoot. I've spent all weekend at Phillip
Island watching historic racing cars circulate, but couldn't shoot at
all. I was doing communications and observing at one of the flag points,
so when the cars were on the track I couldn't take photos and when they
weren't, there wasn't much to shoot. The MX stayed in my backpack all
weekend.

For those who are interested, the cars I couldn't shoot included:
Ferrari - 250 GTO, 250 GT, 206/240 S, 156/85
ERA - R1A, R4D, R11B, R12C
Lola - Mk5, T286, T342, T70
Lotus 11
Jaguar D Type
Cooper - T75 BRM, T76, T82 BRM, Climax
Bugatti - 35, 37A

Plus sundry Brabhams, Elfins and Aston Martins

I worked today and we had a SuperCross event. Everything was going
alright
with my responsibilities so I could shoot for a while. I filled-up my
256Mb
flash card, deleting a few obvious losers as I went.
Come home after twelve hours at the Dome, looked at my shots and damn,
they
mostly stink.
