Here goes:
H and L modes are outputs on manual. H is high, and L is low. M is for
manual settings. MS is for manual settings but the flash will mate with the
LX and set the flash shutter speed at 1/75th second.
For off the camera TTL, get the hotshoe grip. I use the 4P Sync Cord B
cable. One end goes into the grip, the other onto the hotshoe of the LX.
There is a switch on the hotshoe grip regular synch (1/75) and slow synch at
speeds below 1/75 sec. I usually meter the scene with the LX and set the
hotshoe grip on slow synch. Once shutter speed and f-stop give me the
correct exposure for the scene, I trip the shutter and get very good
fill-flash.
Unfortunately, you can't use a higher shutter speed above 1/75 for flash.
I've never use my 280T with my SF1n. I think it can be done.
Hope this helps.
