What a talented bunch you all are. For me its hat's off to; Francis Alviar's "Gillian" in B&W, and Max McRae's "Karen" in colour Francis has captured a real-life treasure, its gripping how he's captured her Extreme attention oblivious to the camera's eye. Super. I can imagine her wondering if she'll make it and muttering to herself that she must. Max's more formal posed portrait, is nevertheless to me a wonderfully made shot, a no distractions straight to the point, lovely balanced light. I'm starting to learn that window portraits are my favourite.
It struck me that the digital photos somehow seem more precise, but that their accuracy and Sharpness seem to be extreme and hurt the eye sometimes. Weird (you can tell I'm not a digi-boy -yet). I was also very impressed with quality of several people's work with FA lenses, clearly the 24-90mm and others are really capable of providing extremely sharp stuff. Wish I could afford them. Well done to all, I admire all of your work, keep it coming Ian http://www.photo.net/shared/community-member?user_id=864060
