You don't need to buy it as a kit to get the rebate. You just need to buy the lens and body before the rebate period is up. http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1028&message=7812574 has a message forwarded from Pentax discussing this issue. The 16-45/4 lens has just made it to the US, so they aren't in wide circulation yet. I expect that more stores will be listing them by the end of this week. alex
