Thanks. Rob sent me a nice link about changes, and I sorta knew such was possible. It aggravated me when I discovered the *istD was not recognized by my old computer. I never bought a card reader because the slow download from camera was not a problem, and avoiding removal-insertion cycles of the CF card could not be a bad thing. I'd just hook up the download and go do something else for half an hour. It aggravated me when I discovered the *istD was not recognized by my old computer, plus I had a new HD sitting around, so it seemed like a good time to dig out the copy of WinXP Pro I traded for a long time ago. It took two days to make it work; I still don't know why it failed to install fully the first thirty times, then suddenly installed beautifully. Oh well, it works now so I don't need to know any more. -- John Mustarde www.photolin.com
