Frank, be more concerned with the lighter areas. Bring down the white and light grey behind Haley, and bring down the white area between the two to a considerable degree. It's distracting, creates a bit of "separation" or distance between the lovers. By bringing down the background the viewer will better focus on the kiss and the lovers.
