I saw the current crop of digital SLRs at a trade show on the weekend. Both the Nikon and Canon digitals seemed about as big, and as heavy, as I remember my old Crown Graphic to have been. People equate large format with large cameras, without realizing how big, by comparison, the small format cameras have gotten. I am quite certain the Olympus E1 decked out the way they had it on the table was larger and heavier than a Cown Graphic. The Oly thing is a pig.
