Thanks for your reaction! You're right, the tubes fits on the outer bayonet and my lenses on the inner. I suppose I have to face to loss of a couple of euros and go on with looking for a three-piece set.
I seem to remember reading that the outer bayonet tubes are only a two-piece set. But as someone else mentioned they are designed for the really big lenses, and as such they have no aperture linkages.
