Tan these are fantastic. From your story you did an amazing job because most of them look pretty sharp. I actually like some of the colour versions better because of the coloured smoke etc. Artistic views aside I am guessing that at higher magnification the noise is less objectionable in B&W though - this is what I find. This is where DSLRs really shine - ISO1600 is totally usable.
