Actually I've used the *istD and I DO like it in this respect. I've shot it mostly with studio strobes so I had forgotten what the meter display looked like. I like the ZX-M meter display which is presumably similar to the ZX-5n, but since my ZX-M has been parked at my mother's place I had forgotten how it worked as well. My only real gripes with the ZX-M are the automatic film rewind, and build quality (or lack thereof). Given the price, I could just get a handful and forgive the cheesy construction. I suspect that if I'd made it past that awful SF-1 I might have liked modern Pentaxes in general, especially if I'd gotten my hands on a PZ-1P or such. DJE
