Other than that little inaccuracy in your description (which I'm willing to overlook <g>), I think it's a wonderful photo. Not having seen the "more clinical" shots, I can't imagine that I'd like them as much as this. God, you can even see little dark rings around it's antennae! Wow!
I do like the narrowish dof, and the comp with the buttercups scattered like that.
Overall, just terrific.
