Hi group.Well after months of reading articles,talking to camera stores,checking Boz's

bodys site a million times,and reading the pdml,I found and purchased a used SF-1
today c/w
a pentax 35-70 zoom/macro lense and a used vivitar 636 AF flash.It was a scary time a
lunch
today as this life long manual(sp500&k1000)guy took the plunge into the noisy world of
AF.
The price was good,i hope,in the range of $400.00 Can for this as well as a
filter,strap and a
soft bag for my Sigma 100-300 AF lense bought last year.Took a test roll as soon as i
got
home and hope all goes well.It came with sf-10 manual but looks like the cameras work
just
about the same.Played with all the buttons during the test roll,wrote most of it
down,lets hope
the memory is good to.
Not sure about the flash.Is the best way to go about flash work to set the sync speed
of 1/100
and a lenses aperature to shoot or set the 1/100 and leave it on A?This flassh is used
with no
manual.Any one familiar with the 636AF?Any reasuring comments or to find a
manual.Checked the vivitar site but they do not list this unit.
