...continued
...I forgot to mention that you must use SCA adapter 3083 for both cameras.
TTL will work on both MZ-S and *ist D. Only very few functions will not -
e.i. wake up flash through camera.
All the best

Max
These Metz flashes will work with the MZ-S and the *ist D:

mecablitz 70 MZ-5
mecablitz 70 MZ-4
mecablitz 54 MZ-4
mecablitz 54 MZ-3
mecablitz 44 MZ-2

Look at:
http://www.metz.de/photo_electronics/
The site has a search facility that gives you the right flash for the
camera. The mentioned flashes works with both, but I haven't checked wich
functions are supported (Sorry, Pentax!)

Why Pentax never made a 500 FGZ for the MZs, or*istD is completely beyond
me.
I mean what the hell were they thinking!

The 360 is too weak, can't swivel, can't use a power-pack, and has a hot
shoe locking system that's made of Swiss cheese.
Mine broke the first time I mounted it.

If this new Sigma flash had an auxiliary socket to plug a Quantum Turbo Z
into it, I'd buy one.

Wedding photographers need those features....all of 'em!
