I saw a review in the Chicago Tribune for "Lonely Planet's Travel Photography" the week-end before my wife and I went on vacation in February. This was our first vacation since I purchased the ZX-5n and sold my Super Program so I wanted things to go well. On the basis of a strong review, I picked it up for plane reading. I was paging through it tonight and thought I'd recommend this to the group. I consider myself at a casual/intermediate level but still found this useful and a fun read. It is really geared more to a new photographer but most everyone will find something that they want to know more about. The writing is clear and concise and the topic photos are nothing short of stunning. The real nice feature is that the book format is 5" x 7 3/4" which makes it real easy to carry. Here is a link on Amazon if anyone wants more info: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/186450207X. (I have no relationship to the publisher, author or Amazon.com - just wanted to share info on a potentially useful reference.) _____________________________________________________________ - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
