Hello Frank, Thanks for your comments. The pastel colours were indeed what caught my attention, and the contrast between the road and the houses on the right.
At first I tought architecture is an easy subject, the buildings will not move and won't mind if I take a photo, and they are just there, waiting. But after I got my prints made, I realized something was missing... The feeling of being there or some special mood which you can feel looking at an old building. There are some old ecletic and secession style buildings which can be a terrific subject once I figure out how to photograph them.
