Yes, thanks, it is checked. I have no problems in getting any pictures when on the
net. It's just that it won't show any jpg:s in a html document on my hard disk.

The problem is not not being able to see any single JPGs, my main program for browsing
picture folders is ACDSee and this works fine.
I want to open an html-document (a web album that I have created) locally (saved on my
hard disk) and see the JPGs linked to this document. When trying to do so I do not get
the JPGs, only the frames with the red cross for the missing JPG.

Yes, they are in fact associated to Photoimpact, although in the preferences of the
Photoimpact program I have not checked any picture format to be associated to this
program.
When trying to open a s i n g l e JPG in IE (File/Open) as in your suggestion, the
Photoimpact program will be launched and show the picture.
If this is where the problem lies, then how does one get rid of such an association?
(The Photoimpact program doesn't seem to offer any solution on this.)
('Boy, am I tired of this [..] or what... )
However - while writing this message I finally found and understood the awfully
inadequate instructions regarding "file types"(?) and was able to re-associate the
jpg:s to the ACDSee program and voila! my test Web Album works!
Now I can finally get on with my project, and hopefully soon get something up-loaded...
I
am
releived..:)
Thanks,
Lasse
