I'm glad it works. I struggle with composition so it's hard for me to "see" an image. What I saw here was the light on the feathers and just needed to figure out how to capture that without the normal distracting elements found in a zoo. Getting tight on the bird wasn't obvious because I seem to always think I need to get the whole subject into the frame. What happened was that I had the 300mm on the camera and couldn't back up any more!
