I can't say anything about the Sigma 500mm f8 Mirror, but I bought a Centon
1:8.0 500mm Mirror lens (Korean), about a year before I left the UK. It is
lightweight and gives very good results. I bought it for under a 100 UK
Pounds, from Jesops in Worcester, which I consider a bargain. It takes a
72mm filter/lens hood, which is proving a problem as nobody stocks a 72mm
hood. I could try using a 72mm filter ring and glue a tube to it.
Hope this helps
James
