The "Program Line" menu option simply selects the program mode bias. Normal 
gives a very balanced average setting for aperture and shutter, Hi Speed biases 
program mode towards high shutter speeds and large apertures and Depth the 
opposite. MTF mode attempts to optimise the aperture to achieve best quality, 
the MTF information is stored in the FA and I think F lenses, it's not really 
applicable to earlier lenses.

This function allows automatic effective ISO correction, it acts like a very 
course program mode and is next to useless if you are using any kind of 
external metering as you never know what effective ISO the camera is set at.

I don't know what this is about DOF preview is actuated by moving the on/off 
switch to the right. I wasn't aware of any other options?

They only do EI 200/400/800/1600/3200 so I assume 600ASA was a typo.
