As I mentioned in another thread, I am taking a studio portrait lighting class.
Here is my first foray in portraiture. I've only shot people once before, some street people in San Francisco, and not many of those. I also had never used a flash with a person before. This was the first class, using different types of lighting. The teacher (and I) thought possibly I should stop down 1/2 to 1 stop, because DSLRs (and the one I have) are known to overexpose with flash. So I did it the last 1/2 of the class. However, that was wrong, those photographs came out too dark. I adjusted them in Elements and I am not sure I did it that well. http://members.aol.com/eactivist/class/ So can I start charging now???
