So what does Prontor Compur mean (maybe just a joke)? I know that "Prontor"
and "Compur" are names for central-shutters used in rangefinder cameras like
"Agfa Isolette" or "Zeiss Super Ikonta". But how does this apply to flash
cables?

Because it was back in the days of wooden cameras when the Prontor and Compur shutters were designed and developed (thenk you Arthur Gauthier!) and they used a slip-on or push-on connector for access to the flash contacts.
This design soon became known as the PC connector.

I must admit ignorance and say that while Prontor is still alive and well, and still making wonderful shutters, I know nothing about the later history of Compur, as a company.
