Hi, I thought about the tape trick, but it's a messy solution, especially if you want to look at prints and contact sheets (using the clear base) and film (using the opaque base on a light box). If you only look at film on a light box, then tape is a good, cheap solution.
I like the Pentax zoom loupe except for the smaller eye relief.
