Completely off-topic but I can't resist mentioning it in case
it proves a) useful, b) entertaining, or c) disturbing to
various of you.
A fun use of the Moire effect is to wear two pairs of fishnet
stockings or tights, in contrasting colours, at the same time.
Moire legs. If you use contrasting _Day-Glo_ (fluourescent)
colours, the result is entertainingly blinding.
While this effect would probably be made even more disturbing
if you wore contrasting Day-Glo fishnets and a miniskirt and
ran in front of a picket fence, it's eye-catching enough just
standing around. :-)
