There's something missing. I don't know what it is, but something's not there for me.
Not a bad photo at all, but I'm left feeling that there's an emotion that I should be feeling that I'm not. I know I'm not making sense, but I'm trying to convey what I'm feeling (something that's sometimes hard to articulate).
Mostly your photos do have that extra little "zing" that puts them well above the merely ordinary. This one doesn't, at least for me.
cheers, frank

A near and dear friend of mine gave me a plant. I put it in my garden. One of the blooms soon leaned over as though to kiss a nearby daffodil, so I shot the two blooms and called it "Friends." I know a lot of people make fun of flower photography, perhaps because it's not very difficult. But I enjoy shooting blooms. I tend to personify flowers. Almost all of them remind me of people I know or have known. I think that helps make it fun. I posted the pic on photo net: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2296992&size=lg
