Hi Steven.
I use the Manfrotto 681/n30 (but i always thought it was an 028,but thats whats
stamped on
the frame)
with 481 rc2 ball head.
Leg is sturdy,no clanking sounds if used as a walking stick and the head holds my D2H
and
80-200 f
2,8 combo well.
