Hi!
If I understand you correctly, you are faced with two options - either buy Pentax 67II or invest in DSLR. May I suggest another option (for which suggestion I hope I am not going to be banned from __Pentax__ list).
Perhaps you could invest in another MF system that either already has a digital back option or is known to have one with absolute certainty. Today, digital MF backs are very expensive, unless of course you have the money. Also, from what M Reichmann writes on his site, they are not exactly convenient to use. Nonetheless, this is going to be solved as technology advances, I hope.
So perhaps, investing now in MF system and shooting film until a reasonably cheap and reasonably good in quality digital back comes out, could be a possible course of action. This way at least you would get the quality of MF nonetheless.
I'm curious, what people think... is it possibly throwing money down the drain to 'invest' in additional film equipment? I'm not making a case for this, just wondering. The world is currently changing at a faster pace than most imagined was possible.
Hope I make at least appearance of sense...
Boris
