Cotty,
I'm not playing that game until I've had at least 6 beers. That will give me a much better chance of being "correct" (if that's the proper word).
Let's see, Mark and I have an ETA of about 10:00 on Thursday morning. Six beers? Talk to me around noonish, then...

cheers, frank

Actually that has given me a nice idea. I will do some prints for GFM - specifically: prints from black and white negs, and prints from digital files turned to black and white. The latter not just willy-nilly, but shot specifically as a black and white shot. I will bring them along as an exercise in illustrating how suitable/unsuitable shooting digital colour and turning to mono is/is not.
However, the exercise is not to make anyone look foolish - so when I show you, I will not ask for voiced opinion on which is which - I will simply present half a dozen pics, and ask the viewer to decide which is film and which is digital, based simply on the print. Keep the answers to yourself, and then I will reveal the truth. That way, personal surprise and / or agreement will remain private.
Should be fun.
I'll get on it on Thursday, when I'm on a day off.
Cheers, Cotty
