Hi Chris >Not sure if it's the same, but on my 1.4 you unscrew the nameplate/serial >number plate up through the inside of the filter ring and the bezel >itself is held on to the front of the lens body with three grub screws. >Tighten these and screw the nameplate back in and you're done.
It started to unscrew, and I got about 2 complete turns and it stops and won't go any further. The front element rotates as well, right? It rotated but the serial number plate/front element didn't appear to be 'rising' up out of the lens body as it went... It refuses to go past a certain point.... Any ideas gratefully received.
