Which brings up an interesting question. Is it now in this digital age the norm to expect to pay far more for a body than a couple of decent lenses? In reply to your original question, if you can't "afford" the 31LTD then I'd consider the FA28/2AL over the FA24/2 as I find the free CA provided by the latter to be a little disconcerting.
