I don't think I've ever seen a PUG where I only had one or two favorites out of all the great shots, but this month, "Duck! " by Max McRae really jumped out at me. The position of the bird at the moment of capture is really interesting...not a clich� at all! The angle of the light and the blurred background are also great.
I also loved "istDaCat Again" by Joseph Tainter. I like how the narrow DOF makes even the cat's cheek blurred, and how the angle makes his head look big. :) Coincidentally, both of these shots were taken with the istD; I'm paying a lot more attention to what can be done with the camera now that I have one!
