Woo Hoo!!

Just got back from another weekend with the kids (two in a row, 'cause the ex had to be away on business this weekend). It's 1:00 am, and I'm on list for the first time in a couple of days, just for a few minutes.

Work tomorrow. Pack tomorrow night. Work Tuesday, and catch the midnight bus to Pittsburg, to meet the sore and tired Mr. Roberts.

Then, we're on our way!

can't wait,
frank

Well my GFM plans are coming together, too.

I just completed a project I had to get out of the way first: Running
the Buffalo Marathon :) Had a great time, good weather (could have used
some cloud cover) and finished in 20th place with a 2:57. And my
preparation must have been much better this year because not only was I
over a minute faster than last year, I felt much better during the last
5 miles or so and my legs are feeling much less beat up than last year.
I can actually walk down stairs without (much) pain!

I ran the Buffalo Marathon a week before GFM last year and was still
moving pretty slowly during the Nature Photography Weekend. I think I'll
be much more spritely this year. Look out!

Now I just have to mow the lawn and do some other yard work, pack up the
gear for the trip and await the arrival of Frank Theriault on Wednesday.
We'll be getting to the mountain around lunch time on Thursday after an
overnight stop at my friend's place in NC.
