As for the Off, well, that may not be a horrible idea, even if it stinks (it will only mask the natural odors <g>). I may not use it, but if the bugs are bad, or if I need to drive someone like Cotty away, it might be useful.

I bought some and it made me gag one I put more than a tiny bit on my hand... I have a full tube of it, and if it suits anyone I'll bring it along...
