No Orgy yet, but I left at 10:10 PM.

It rained Thursday on the Mountain, Friday morning too.
When I got to pdml central about 3 PM Friday,
there were a bunch of wet campers.

Drove the mountain roads thru the clouds from 1:00 to 2:30 PM Friday.
The fog was frightening, especially not knowing the roads.

Checked in at 2:30 with our own Listmeister - Doug Brewer and Don 'the Pentax
rep.' Nelson who is running the whole program. Found pdml central and Bill
Owen, plus
Frank, Cesar, Mark Roberts, and others. They looked like wet campers, but
things cleared up later Friday.

Drove up the mountain to check things out, then went looking for our lodging.
Didn't get back to GFM until 6:30 PM and met Stan Halpin, Annsan, Greywolf,
Jostien, and others. Cotty, Tanja, and Tom VanV. were still missing. :-(

The program started at 7:30 PM with an outline by Don of the weekend's
activities. The auditorium had comfortable seating for ~130 was nice if a bit hot
at times. At 8 PM Hugh Morgan spoke followed by a break and a 9 PM
presentation on digital photography by Gregory Georges.

At the break, I met Bruce Dayton, plus Tom Van Veen, Tanja, and Cotty, who
arrived late due to the air traffic problems in the UK. Others too, I'm sure
I'm
leaving them out...

Hugh Morgan gave a great presentation covering years of his photo experience
right up to something he took that morning. He's older than dirt, but tells
great stories and has great pictures to back them up. He showed one with the
UNC University President, Elanore Roosevelt and Al Roper (Roper political
surveys) as a student activist.

Gregory Georges was interesting but too deep and detailed for me. Less would
have been more here as he finished at 10:10 PM.

My wife and I skipped Bill Owen's hospitality and the pdml fellowship at his
camper after the program. We'll catch up with them again tomorrow.

Sorry, no Orgys ...yet. :-)

Regards, Bob S.
