A look at stans-photography.info has convinced me that, when it comes to such zooms, Pentax has a very expensive and heavy proposition (70-200/2.8) new. Otherwise, either the SMC-F 70-210/4-5.6 or the early M80-200/4.5 are better optically than the current consumer zooms. HTH, Kostas
