Joe, I was able to talk to Don Nelsen (Pentax Rep) about the FA 77 Limited. He said that as far as he knows, the 77 is current and knows of no plans to discontinue it. He said that they probably did a production run that has since sold out and will more runs in the future. Not to despair, just be a bit patient.
I was very comfortable with his reply and felt that he was sincere in his answer. With Pentax, patience is a virtue.
