I took this picture in Birmingham, Michigan, which is a notoriously liberal town. Obviously, these young people are all mindless left wingers ,vbg>). But they're having fun.
Seriously, this is a hard crop from an *ist D photo shot at ISO 400. This was a carnival ride that moved very fast and unpredictably. The crop has left some "digital grain," but I don't find it objectionable. I had the camera set on continuous autofocus, and it kept up on almost all the frames I shot. The lens was the FA 28-105/3.2-4.5, and inexpensive consumer zoom that I have grown rather fond of for walkarounds. BTW, until I owned the *ist D I had only one zoom on the shelf and never used it. But I've found that for snapshot walks, they are quite convenient.
