My thoughts on a few of the people I met at GFM: Graywolf - not as curmudgeonly as I expected. I think I could take him in a grump-off if I trained for it.
Cesar - a great guy once you get past his peculiar LX fetish. His mission in life seems to be gathering every LX ever made and performing some weird Frankenlizard experiments on them. I hope he's successful in his quest to invent a lens with a vertically slit aperture to match. I did notice a frightening gleam in his eyes when he handled those 6x7 beasts. I wonder if the owners were able to clean off the drool marks. AnnSan - I was tempted to try her in Scrabble but she reminded me of a wolf circling a field full of rabbits. Frank Therieau (sp?) - first impression - "yep, he's a photographer" second impression - "yep, he's got a screw loose somewhere" Tanja - first impression - "yep she has several screws loose everywhere" second impression - "I underestimated the number of loose screws" Jostein - gave Susan some Photoshop pointers that I'm sure will be extremely helpful - His friendly personality was a perfect cover for his secret mission to serve as advance scout for the second Viking invasion of North America. Based on the information he was sending back to hdqtrs, they plan to carry off all our best breweries. I wish I could have gotten to know you all better. I'm already looking forward to next year.
