Good idea. I thought about a solid plank of wood, perhaps I should have gone that way. Grey granite might have been best, but I don't have any.

I shot this in my basement studio the other day. Two strobes firing
into umbrellas for the main light and a snorkel strobe aimed right into
the back of the glass to light the liquid. A lot of PS work to remove
the snorkel strobe hardware.
