Both my PZ-1 and my ZX-5n will show the aperture setting in the viewfinder if 
the aperture ring on an autofocus lens is set to other than A.
They won't report the aperture on an M lens, and I don't have a manual-focus A 
lens to check, but they will certainly do this with an autofocus lens.
