Thanks, I will try to look for an A version. I'm glad you (Andy) think it's
a good lens, 'cause my 20mm is too wide sometimes.

I don't know which Pentax bodies, that will not work with K and M lenses,
Alex???

I use my M85mm, K105mm, K135mm, M35mm, M50mm and M*300mm with all my
Pentax'es from time to time, including the Super A, PZ-1/PZ-1p and the
MZ-S - I never really notice if it's a K, M, F or FA i put on the camera
:-). Of cource some don't autofocus and some don't do "P" or "Tv". I believe
they will even work with the *ist D - after a firmware upgrade. Perhaps not
with the *ist???

I believe that the A 24/2.8 has the same optics. Since most Pentax
bodies no longer work with pre-A lenses as well as post-A lenses I
would suggest holding out for the A version over the K version.

Pricing on these can really vary. I bought my sample from KEH 5 years
ago for about $300. In the meantime I've seen them from $100 to $300
with most prices between $200 and $300.
