This type of shot (large field of something) is one that I really like to look at. There are some great elements in this one - the poppies, the sky, the clump of trees in the background - about the only thing that doesn't grab at me is the color. Seems just a bit weak (maybe I have seen too many Velvia shots <Grin>). It could be the color of the poppies vs. the grasses or possibly the sun angle (Closer to noon than morning/evening).
Just pulled it down and boosted saturation by 15% and that punched it up just about right for me.
