We never travel anywhere, and especially the UK, without our own tea bags!
Seems really odd carrying English Breakfast and Earl Grey tea bags to England!
Truly like carrying coal to Newcastle!

An aside to Cotty: just picked up some double bergamot Earl Grey black tea the other day. The smell is delicious!
Check out <http://www.stashtea.com>.
You might even be able to smell it over the milk! <g>

Funny but when I visited England for the first time about 30 years ago,
(damn now I feel old), I was unable to find
a proper cup of tea. Tea seemed to be only available in giant
stainless, (if you could call it that), steel urns with milk already
added. I would have killed for a teabag. After that first experience I
never tried again. My hosts were coffee drinkers...

Proper tea drinkers drink it strong and "neat," just like their
whisky...

My very proper British inlaws drink their tea strong enough to melt a
spoon, with enough milk to bring the colour up to about Zone III.
Of course, they are British......
