The price on the 200/2.5 is extraordinary but at least if the copy is to 
believed it's not damaged.

Sure you can buy the current FA*85/1.4 but it has a very different character to 
the A*85/1.4, it's a totally new formulation which seems biased more to close 
in portraiture. You either love it or hate it, the A*85/14 is very difficult 
not to like :-)

I never view photo kit as an investment, then I'm far less disappointed.
